After serving on the frontlines, whether short or long term, many missionaries return depleted—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Operation Mordecai offers a sacred space for rest, healing, and restoration. Our heart is to renew every wounded warrior, equipping them to reengage in the Great Commission.
Our recovery program focuses on the complete well-being of ministry families, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. From personal counseling to practical support, we help families navigate the complexities of cultural adjustment, ministry transitions, and the emotional toll of serving on the mission field. We aim to ensure they they are spiritually grounded and physically recharged, ready to continue their work with renewed strength.
Through both domestic and international retreats, we offer missionary families the opportunity to rest and rejuvenate together. These retreats provide an environment conducive to emotional healing, spiritual renewal, and relational bonding. We integrate workshops, counseling, and relaxation to help families recover from the stresses of ministry life. Whether transitioning back to the field or returning home, these retreats equip families to re-enter their mission work with fresh energy and purpose.
We are working toward the establishment of a dedicated retreat center that will serve as a sanctuary for ministry families. This center will offer the physical space and facilities necessary for recovery—combining spiritual renewal, counseling, rest, and activities aimed at restoring emotional and physical health. The center will also support ministry families during times of transitions, providing a protected space for them to reconnect with God and seek His will for the next phase of their mission work. Please consider supporting this effort financially so we can help ministry families remain passionate in their calling.
